HELP US HELP THE LA COUGARS!
Montage Vineyards is helping to promote and fund the National Wildlife Federation's #SaveLACougars campaign to build the wildlife crossing at Liberty Canyon with sale of our Mountain Lion Merlot and Cougar Cabernet Sauvignon wines.
For the month of March, Montage Vineyards will donate 100% of the profits from the sale of our Mountain Lion Merlot and Cougar Cabernet Sauvignon to the #SaveLACougars campaign to help build the wildlife crossing.
For hundreds of years cougars and vineyards have co-existed in the Santa Monica Mountains. Now urban sprawl is threatening the existence of both. Cougars are an important part of the ecosystem in the Santa Monica Mountains, but they need open space to roam and thrive. The continued urban development around the Santa Monica Mountains blocks wildlife passageways.
The wildlife crossing at Liberty Canyon will help the LA area cougar population continue to exist into the future by creating a safe passageway across the 101 freeway. This will become the largest wildlife crossing in the world once built, but we need your help to make it happen.
When you order a bottle or case of Montage Vineyards Mountain Lion Merlot or Cougar Cabernet Sauvignon in August, you can help get this project completed.
